A 13-year-old boy faces charges after allegedly pouring pop on his grandmother and throwing a hissy fit in her home.
Police say about 5 p.m. Tuesday, the youth started an argument with his grandmother, which escalated and he damaged a computer and phone, wrote obscene language on the wall, and then dumped a pop on her.
As a neighbour attempted to intervene, police say the youth threatened her before fleeing the residence as the call went out to police.
At about 7:30 p.m., police tracked the kid down and gave him a pair of steel bracelets.
A 13-year-old Chatham youth is charged with two counts of mischief, assault and uttering threats.
