September has rolled into Chatham-Kent like steam from a hot shower.
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for our area for the next two days, with daytime highs predicted to be around 30C and overnight lows to be above 20C.
Add on the Humidex and it will feel closer to 40C out there.
To help those without air conditioning cope with the weather, the municipality reminds residents that all municipal centres and libraries are open to help you at least temporarily escape.
Hope Haven in Chatham is also open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
