Editor: Apparently, sharing the road in a polite, courteous and safe manner is a hundred-year-old problem in Chatham.
With the warm weather upon us, not to mention the countless models of new motorized contraptions now on our roadways, I would have thought, by now, the motorist versus cyclist versus pedestrian letter writing “dust ups” would be in full swing.
Where it is a very concerning, potentially dangerous issue, I thought finding articles in an old newspaper was mildly amusing.
Then, as it is now, if all three “combatants” attempted to be more polite, courteous and safe toward one another, I’d hope there would be far fewer incidents of confrontation and complaint.
