Heavy weather descended upon Chatham-Kent on the evening of June 25, bringing high winds, rain and large hail.
These photos, taken by The Chatham Voice’s Michelle Owchar just outside Moraviantown near Thamesville, showcase the approaching storm, as well as the golf-ball-sized hail it brought.
Officials have confirmed a tornado touched down near Glencoe, approximately 28 kilometres from this site.
