Swimming at the Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool will go down the drain for about a month.
The pool will be closed until June 28 for scheduled maintenance, including “essential repairs and deep cleaning,” according to municipal officials.
“This work ensures the safety, comfort, and long-term reliability of our aquatic facility,” a media release stated.
All swimming lessons, public swims, lane swims, aquafit and private rentals are paused during this time.
Alternate swimming opportunities are available at Gable Rees Rotary Pool in Blenheim and the Chatham-Kent YMCA in Chatham.
