Chatham-Kent police have given the all clear in Blenheim.
Earlier Tuesday, they had blocked off a portion of Chatham Street South over a report of a man in possession of a long gun.
Officers located the man. It turns out it was a BB gun, police say.
Police continue to investigate, and say there is no threat to public safety.
The incident impacted students at Blenheim District High School, as well as Harwich Raleigh Public School and W.J. Baird Public School. All were put on lockdown as a precaution, according to school board officials.
All schools have resumed normal operations.
