Around 25 people turned out in Wallaceburg March 28 to take part in the province-wide ‘Fight Ford’ protest.

Signs decrying Premier Doug Ford’s recent cuts to OSAP and displeasure against the York1 Dresden landfill were brandished at the County Fair Mall where Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP Steve PInsonneault has a constituency office.

Numerous concerns were expressed including cuts to health care, the consolidation of Ontario’s conservation authorities, transparency at Queen’s Park and lack of affordability.

A second Fight Ford protest event will be held at the same location April 25 at 11 a.m.
