The provincial Financial Services Tribunal has dismissed Navistar’s appeal of its pension obligations, meaning workers who were terminated from employment from Feb. 1, 2009 to July 8, 2011 will now be covered.
The three-member tribunal heard the appeal over three days in April. The union, Unifor, is expected to make a formal announcement on the ramifications of the decision later today.
