A Chatham woman has to answer to charges in the wake of an angry incident on Cardinal Crescent in Chatham Saturday afternoon.
Police say the suspect contacted police to ask that an unwanted person be removed from the residence. However, when interacting with that person, the suspect became aggressive and assaulted police officers.
No injuries were reported.
A 40-year-old Chatham woman is charged with assaulting police.
