Decluttering seminar offered

Need help with organizing and decluttering? Do you want to refresh your space and turn over a new leaf in the new year?

Then an upcoming online workshop offered by the Chatham-Kent Public Library may have the tips you need.

According to a CKPL media release, decluttering can bring a sense of calm and clarity to your home, whether you’re tackling a single drawer or overhauling an entire room. Downsizing home possessions and heirlooms can also be a transformative process, not just for creating a more organized space, but for cultivating a lifestyle that prioritizes what truly matters.

The Jan. 22 online session will run from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Kim Wakem, a certified professional organizer, and realtor Bridget Blonde of Nest Realty will provide information as to why you should declutter and downsize; why you should start now; tips to get started and other guidelines.

A question-and-answer period will follow the presentation.

Patrons interested in accessing the forum can attend the Chatham branch meeting room; the Ridgetown branch, the Tilbury branch or online through the Teams app under Kim Wakem, Certified Ultimate Professional OrganizerTM, Talbot West Organizing.

Registration is required and can be made by calling 519-354-2940, texting 519-401-7174 or emailing cklibrary@chatham-kent.ca or on Facebook chat @ckplibrary. An online link to Teams will be shared.
