Editor: I just have to send my sincere “kudos” to everyone who planned, worked at, contributed and attended Chatham’s fifth Crowfest.
Amazing input from all involved. I was so impressed by all the terrific crow displays, particularly the big handsome crow who stood proudly on a corner. Many vendors went out of their way to have crow souvenirs. One man had many gorgeous crow puppets. I really liked his crow-in-a- basket hangers.
I purchased some pins, keychains and a cute crow knit by the wife of a man who was working a souvenir stand. This fella is now proudly wearing my pins.
This will be my best souvenir. It accompanies the knitted crow in a display cabinet I have.
What a truly award-winning booklet. It has fantastic colour photos of all the events. Information galore, what a great schedule of all the events, World Record Attempt Schedule, crows (ditto!) lining King Street on the map, ads by businesses supporting Crowfest (and Chatham gets remarkable support for all their events).
I loved the CKALERT community notifications ad — inciteful statement.
Congratulations to everyone. I feel proud to be a citizen here.
