Voting information for C-K

The Chatham Voice has compiled a list of when and where Chatham-Kent residents can vote in the fall municipal election.

Given the fact ward boundaries, including within Chatham, have changed, please double check where you need to go on Election Day.

All the information is included in your voter package that should have landed in your mailbox recently.

However, we’re here to help.

Election Day is Oct. 26, and you can vote between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Alternatively, you can cast your ballot online. This opportunity takes place between Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. and Oct. 16 at 4 p.m.

Visit www.ckelection.ca during the online voting period and there will be a portal for you to cast your ballot.

You will need your Elector ID, which can be found on your voter card, as well as an email address.

For anyone without access to the Internet or a computer, you can visit any municipal library during library hours and within the online voting period, to vote.

The advance polls occur over a three-day period, Oct. 15 (noon to 7 p.m.), Oct. 16 and 17 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

These polls are run at:

  • Blenheim – St. Mary’s Hall, 94 George St.
  • Chatham – John D. Bradley Centre, 565 Richmond St.
  • Dresden – Ken Houston Memorial Arena, 1212 North St.
  • Ridgetown – Ridgetown Youth Centre, 26 Ebenezer St. W.
  • Tilbury – Tilbury District Memorial Arena, 49 Bond Ave.
  • Wallaceburg – Wallaceburg First Baptist Church, 99 Thomas Ave.
