A Chatham woman is in hospital after a mishap Monday afternoon on King Street in Chatham.
According to police, an officer spotted the woman pinned beneath her own vehicle and provided assistance until paramedics arrived on scene.
It appears the woman, 82, had exited her vehicle while it was still in reverse and it rolled over her, police say.
She was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
