Editor: Chatham-Kent council has shown even they cannot make a decision, as a issue that was an 8-8 tie, PUC governance.
This issue will cost billions, as stated in the newspapers, must be sent to taxpayers for a vote. A good time for this vote and levy would be when the civic election occurs with just some more words on the ballot at no extra cost.
The electorate, in these days when misinformation is forefront, must decide an outcome that would be an albatross around the neck of all taxpayers.
The city council is not the final word; it is the ratepayers and taxpayers.
