Linck Child, Youth, and Family Supports, is rebranding its foundation to better support the needs of children, youth, and families in Chatham-Kent and surrounding areas, officials said.
Linck and the Linck Foundation work in partnership to ensure that all Linck programs under the developmental, mental health, youth justice, and protection areas have the financial support they need to serve the community.
“Our rebrand represents a deepened promise to our community,” said Teri Thomas-Vanos, Linck executive director, in a media release. “The Foundation rebrand will allow for increased support from our donor-friendly Foundation entity that in turn promotes Linck’s core values of equity, accountability, and empowerment of all C-K families.”
Linck Foundation director Gary Edwards added, “Data shows that the need for intensive supports and placements for youth in care is increasing in Chatham-Kent. Under the rebrand, our Foundation is well-equipped to help the community support Linck’s vital programs aimed at making a positive impact within Chatham-Kent and beyond.”
The rebranding process involved community consultation, as well as leadership and staff input. Together, Linck and the Linck Foundation will continue to work under the new banner and expanded scope, fostering stronger relationships, and creating a brighter future for the children, youth, and families of Chatham-Kent, Linck officials said in a media release.
