Being bound by court-ordered release conditions to stay away from one another didn’t stop two people from trying to spend New Year’s Eve together.
However, a visit by the police changed everything that evening.
Police pulled over a vehicle on McCreary Line about 8:15 p.m. Dec. 31 over a report of a man not abiding by release conditions that indicated he was to stay away from a particular woman.
A Dresden man, 37, is charged with failing to comply.
Meanwhile, a 48-year-old Calamachie woman is charged with facilitating a breach.
