At Indian Creek Road Public School, kindergarten students learn to roll with the pumpkins. And to roll them.
Every October since 2013, youngsters like Rocco Faria and Kyra Ringrose have taken part in a slow moving pumpkin race tradition at Mud Creek Park.
A total of 27 students in Rachel Garrow and Nora Denomy’s class took part.
Best Buddy mentors from Jenn Butzer’s Grade 6 class helped out with the little ones.
Pumpkins used were donated by Sobeys and will be passed on to the animals at Charlotte’s Freedom Farm for food after Halloween.
