A Wallaceburg man faces a multitude of charges following an intimate partner violence call Tuesday night.
Police were called to a Wallaceburg residence about 11:40 p.m. over an altercation. A man and woman, police say, were in a dispute outside the residence.
Officers investigated and learned the two were in a volatile relationship, police say, with a history of threats, firearm possession and damage to property.
As a result, a 23-year-old Wallaceburg man is charged with four counts of assault; two counts of pointing a firearm; two of possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose; five counts of mischief; and a charge of cruelty to animals – causing unnecessary pain, suffering or injury.
