Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association visit the homeless encampment in Rotary Park in Chatham recently.
The group handed out more than 50 hot meals to those in need.
Beyond serving meals, the initiative also became an opportunity for community engagement.
The initiative is part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association to serve Canadians, including holding food drives and blood donation clinics, serving warm meals to those less fortunate, among other initiatives.
