It’s a story we, for some reason, hear all too often in Chatham-Kent: A man assaults a woman during an argument.
Chatham-Kent police arrested a 35-year-old Chatham man Wednesday evening after they say he hit a woman, 36.
According to police, the two were arguing, but it turned violent when the man struck the woman.
Police were called shortly before 11 p.m.
The man faces assault charges.
