Chatham-Kent police used their Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) to help ROPE in a suspect Tuesday morning.
Acting on a Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) warrant, local police received information a wanted man was laying low in Wallaceburg.
Police suspected the man was hiding in a recreational vehicle on Old Glass road. They called in the CIRT team to contain the area, as the suspect was believed to be in possession with a sawed-off shotgun and was wanted in connection with a home invasion in Windsor.
A canine team was also utilized as police cordoned off the area and made contact with the suspect.
The 33-year-old man was arrested without incident and transferred to Windsor police.
