Local hydro crews aheaded south to help repair the electrical infrastructure in hurricane-ravaged Florida were recalled Thursday.
A team of 14 Entegrus staff was making its way to Florida to assist Florida Power & Light (FPL) in the aftermath of hurricanes Helene and now Milton.
A team of 14 staff members from Entegrus had been dispatchd, but were recalled.
Crews from nearby utility companies, including Bluewater Power, ERTH Power, Essex Powerlines, and E.L.K. Energy were also recalled.
Previously, Entegrus supported FPL during Hurricane Irma in 2017 and provided support after other significant events, including Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
