AC unit stolen
Thieves made off with a commercial air conditioner recently, and left behind a great deal of damage as they ripped it out.
Chatham-Kent police learned of the break in on Tuesday and say the theft could have taken place anytime over the last few days.
Whoever got into the compound did about $2,500 in damage as they pulled out the air conditioning unit, police say.

B&E arrests
A Chatham man and woman face charges in connection to a commercial break-in that took place Friday in Chatham.
Police say someone broke into a King Street West business. Officers were able to locate what police say is “important property. This material was photographed for evidence and returned to the business owner.
The investigating officers determined who they believe was involved in the crime.
A 31-year-old Chatham man and a 48-year-old Chatham woman are charged with break and enter. The man also faces six counts of breaching his probation order.
