Police seek B&E suspects

An alarm at an address on Zone Road 5 scared off people who were trying to break in Friday evening.

Police say the alarm went off about 8:45 p.m.. after someone forced open a door on a shop at an address on Zone Road 5.  The alarm spooked the suspects and they left in an older extended cab pickup.

Man threatened at knifepoint 

A disturbing incident Friday night in a Chatham store has police looking for more information.

At around 8:50 p.m.,  a 22 year old man was at a local business on St. Clair Street where he was approached by a group of unknown males and was threatened with a knife, police say.  

The suspects all fled prior to the police arrival.  This investigation is ongoing.
