Editor: I spoke with the area supervisor recently of the company who does the curbside pickup after a problem with the collection.
To those who have heard that a lot of recycled material goes to the landfill, here is why. Paper needs to be removed from cans and plastic items as well as washed out.
This will reduce the tonnage going to the landfill.
