Local OPP have asked the public to help fill in the blanks on a collision earlier this week in Chatham-Kent.

The crash took place Aug. 6 shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Highway 401 in the westbound lanes near the 69-kilometre marker.

Police say a passenger vehicle rolled after it entered the centre median on the highway.

Both occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe that another vehicle, possibly a grey or brown sports utility vehicle was indirectly involved in the collision.

OPP investigators would like to speak to the driver of the involved SUV, anyone who may have observed these vehicles prior to the collision, or who observed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage of the collision.

Anyone with information regarding this incident can contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or online at www.opp.ca/reporting. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-84777 (TIPS) or www.stthomas-elgincrimestoppers.ca where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
