A Chatham man faces charges following a traffic stop Monday night on Highway 401.
An officer, following a suspended driver notification from the Automated Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) system, pulled the vehicle over.
Police say the driver then provided a false identity to the officer, and was subsequently arrested after the correct identity was confirmed.
As a result of the investigation, a 53-year-old Chatham man was charged with obstructing a peace officer, as well as two counts of driving while under suspension.
