High water and … possibly a tornado?

The Thames River remains high in Chatham Wednesday, with more rain in the forecast.

Environment Canada has also issued a Tornado Watch.

According to the weather experts, “Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes. Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible.”

In the meantime, the wet weather has led to these ducks visiting the backyard of Paul Robb on McNaughton Avenue. Who needs a pond when you have a wet backyard?

Plus, one wonders if those ducks are worshipping the statue of the heron.
