B&E charges

A Wallaceburg woman is facing charges after someone broke into an apartment in that community on Friday.

Police say a person witnessed a woman entering a Murray Street apartment, and called police.

Officers arrived and located a woman inside the apartment. Police say the officers determined this was the same woman that broke into the apartment a day prior. 

A 25-year-old Wallaceburg woman faces charges.

Engine left running, car gone

 

It wasn’t a good start on Friday morning on Baxter Street for the owner of a Ford Focus.

Police say they got the call about 9:30 a.m. that the Focus had been stolen.

Officers learned that the owner of the vehicle left the 2009 white Ford Focus unattended to warm up in the driveway. While the vehicle was warming up, an unknown suspect stole the car.

Multiple break ins 

Police advise residents to keep their doors locked and report suspicious activity after officers investigated three unrelated break and enters in the municipality on Friday.
