Employers across Chatham-Kent have a chance to share their experiences with the local workforce through the Chatham-Kent EmployerOne Survey. The EmployerOne Survey asks employers about recent workforce challenges and successes in 2022, as well as projections for 2023.
The Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board (CKWPB) is releasing the annual survey for the month of November at www.letstalkchatham-kent.ca/employeronesurvey.
The survey takes between 10-30 minutes to complete and gives employers a chance to help build a stronger local workforce by sharing evolving on-the-ground insights.
Mark Benoit, Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board Director, said the survey helps provide a snapshot into the Chatham-Kent labour situation.
“The CKWPB is committed to ongoing research to enhance local labour market planning in the Chatham-Kent region. It’s important to hear from employers so we have reliable information that will help guide and develop our workforce to meet local needs,” he said in a media release.
The CKWPB and EmployerOne Survey are supported by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. Survey findings provide the ministry, CKWPB, and local stakeholders insight into the local workforce and guide collective action to address challenges and embrace opportunities.
The EmployerOne Survey link, as well as past reports, may also be accessed at www.ckworkforcedev.com. The survey results will be posted to the website in early 2023. If you are a C-K employer and would like more information or support to participate, please contact the Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board at ckworkforce@chatham-kent.ca or call 519.436.3299.
