The COVID-19 virus has claimed another life in Chatham-Kent.
That brings the overall death toll to 88 since the onset of the pandemic.
According to Chatham-Kent Public Health, 111 new cases were recorded over seven days. Four new outbreaks were declared, bringing the current number in the municipality to six.
Chatham-Kent now has a 17.4-per-cent positivity rate for COVID-19, climbing higher than the provincial average of 16.2 per cent.
