B&E charges
On Tuesday shortly after noon, Chatham-Kent police responded to a suspicious person in the parking lot of a King Street West business in Chatham.
Officers arrived and found a woman who was wanted on two warrants, one for a break and enter and one for failing to attend court.
The 38-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters. She was held pending a bail hearing.
Domestic-related charges
On Sunday, police responded to a domestic dispute in Chatham. The man left before officers arrived.
Through investigation, police learned a verbal argument took place between the man and his girlfriend, resulting in the man threatening to cause damage to property and harm the woman.
On Tuesday at about 12:30 p.m., the man attended police headquarters and was arrested.
A 46-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats.
Warrant arrest
At 12:43 a.m. Wednesday morning, police responded to a suspicious person complaint on Talbot Trail in Harwich Township.
Police located the man and learned he was wanted on a Surety Relief Warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Southwest Regional Detention Center.
Mischief charges
At 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, police conducted a well-being check on a woman found walking on Wellington Street East in Chatham.
Police learned the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
A 17-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and released with a future court date.
