Members of the Canadian Army reserve will be on manoeuvres in and around Cedar Springs this weekend.
They will be conducting soldier skills training, and that will include a road march with military equipment, including unloaded weapons.
The march will take place around residential areas that are in close proximity to the Cedar Springs Range Training Area (CSRTA).
Most of the activities will take place between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday. You might see military vehicles and personnel participating in the exercise with unloaded weapons.
No ammunition will be carried outside the confines of CSRTA.
And the firing of ammunition will exclusively take place within the confines of CSRTA.
Military officials said the exercise will help prepare Canadian Army Reserve members to operate in hot weather conditions. All soldiers participating will be practicing Force Health Protection Measures based on and in addition to Public Health guidelines, as applicable.
Members of the public are asked to take extra caution when approaching military vehicles.
