Mischief

This morning at approximately 3 a.m., Chatham-Kent police attended a business on Lacroix Street in Chatham in response to a man kicking the front of the building and causing damage.

Upon attending, police located the male who is familiar to them.

A 50-year-old Chatham man has been arrested for one count of mischief.

Breach charges

In mid-January, a man was released from court with conditions not to communicate or associate with a specific woman.
Yesterday, Chatham-Kent police attended the woman’s residence for a different matter when police located the male and female together.

Police learned that the woman had been communicating with the man and invited him over to her residence.

A 26-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with one count of facilitating a breach.

A 29-year-old Chatham man has been arrested for two counts of failing to comply with his release order and is currently pending a future court date.

Man still missing

Chatham-Kent Police are continuing to investigate the disappearance of Franco Basanesze, 45, of Raleigh Township.
