Chatham-Kent Police are continuing to investigate the disappearance of Franco Basanesze, 45, of Raleigh Township.

Domestic-related charges
Shortly after 9 a.m. yesterday morning, police received several calls regarding a domestic dispute near a Chatham business.
Through investigation, police learned the Chatham male was observed hitting and pushing his girlfriend.
A 39-year-old Chatham man was arrested for one count of assault.
Stolen Fiero found
Yesterday afternoon, police attended a storage facility in the city of Chatham in regard to a break, enter and theft.
Through investigation police learned a number of items were stolen, including 1984 Pontiac Fiero.
At approximately 1 a.m. on Tuesday, the vehicle was located and recovered in a Chatham parking lot.
The vehicle has been towed and the rightful owner has been notified.
