Domestic violence
Last night, shortly before 8 p.m., Chatham-Kent police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned that a woman damaged their home.
A 52-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with mischief and weapons dangerous.
Disturbance leads to arrests
Early this morning, police responded to St. Clair Street in Chatham for a disturbance outside a local business.
Police arrested a 32-year-old Varna, Ont. man and a 32-year-old Seaforth, Ont. man for being intoxicated in a public place.
They were both held in custody until they were sober.
What a way to start the day
Yesterday morning at approximately 7:45 a.m., police were called to an address on King Street West in Chatham for a suspicious male party.
Police arrived and found an intoxicated male who was unable to care for himself.
A 60-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged for being intoxicated in a public place. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and held until he was sober.
