A second person is in hospital at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance battling COVID-19, and active numbers rose Wednesday morning.
Over the past 24 hours, CK Public Health numbers show five new cases of the virus reported against four resolved.
That brings our active case count up to 46.
Of the two in hospital, one is in the ICU on a ventilator.
Chatham Christian School and an unnamed workplace are the only two places listed in outbreak by CK Public Health.
Across Ontario, there were 454 new COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday morning.
