Industrial accident

Just before 3 a.m. this morning, police responded to an industrial accident at a factory in Chatham.

A 30-year-old Chatham man was injured and transported to hospital for medical attention.

The Ministry of Labour was notified and has taken over the investigation.

Stolen vehicle

Sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, someone stole a tan 2008 Ford Fusion from a residence on Base Line in Camden Township.

The car was last seen with Ontario license plates CTPJ 590.

Break in

Sometime yesterday between 4 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., someone entered a residence on McGregor Line in Chatham Township and stole electronics, personal identification and cash.

Crash in Tilbury

Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Mill Street East between Station Street and Tilbury Street.

No one was injured.

Total damage was estimated at $15,000.

A 67-year-old Mississauga woman was charged with making a turn not in safety.
