The COVID-19 creep continues in Chatham-Kent as our numbers keep rising.
Within the municipality, as of Monday morning, we had 27 active cases of COVID-19. There were 14 new cases reported from over the weekend, against five deemed resolved.
Provincially, we saw 526 new cases reported Monday.
In terms of vaccinations, 76 per cent of people aged 12 and up in Chatham-Kent had received at least one dose of the vaccine, with 69 per cent having received two doses, according to CK Public Health figures.
Across Ontario, 20,213,876 vaccine doses have gone into arms, and 81.5 per cent of Ontarians aged 12 and up have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 73.5 per cent are double dosed.
