Three people face a slew of charges following a drug raid this morning.
Early this morning, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section, assisted by the Critical Incident Response Team, executed search warrants at a residence on McDonald Line in Chatham-Kent.
Three people were found inside the residence and arrested. A search of the property resulted in the seizure of more than $26,000 in illicit drugs.
Officers seized nearly 60 grams of suspected fentanyl, about 24 grams of suspected methamphetamine, two rifles, a couple of pellet guns, more than $2,100 in Canadian cash, a stolen ATV and $2,700 worth of contraband cigarettes.
A 34-year-old Chatham-Kent man has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking; two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm; seven counts of failing to comply with release conditions; four counts of possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order; possession of stolen property and possession of unmarked cigarettes.
