Eight times the charm?
C-K police pulled over a motorcyclist in Wallaceburg when police say the officer knew the guy and knew he was suspended from driving.
In fact, police say the driver has been charged seven times in the past 10 months for driving while under suspension.
He was arrested and held for bail.
Caught!
With the help of video surveillance footage, Chatham-Kent police caught a B&E suspect in Chatham Tuesday morning.
In the early morning hours, a local business on Library Lane in Chatham was broken into and several electronic devices taken.
The suspect was caught on video surveillance and was positively identified.
The man was located in the area of the store in the afternoon and placed under arrest.
A 34 year-old Chatham man is charged with break and enter.
Short joy ride
Someone got into a business compound on Seventh Line in Chatham, and tried to steal a vehicle.
Police say the suspects attempted to take a truck, but drove it into a fence.
The suspects left, only causing damages to the property.

’Burg B&E
Suspects entered a location on Murray Street in Wallaceburg. The homeowners interrupted the entry and the suspects fled in a vehicle that was eventually found abandoned, and was towed.
This break and enter is currently under investigation.

Warrant arrest
A vehicle was parked on Baldoon Road in Chatham in the early morning hours. An officer approached the vehicle and found two men inside.
A check found that the driver had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court. The man was arrested and held for bail.
