A Chatham-Kent woman in her 60s is the latest local COVID-19 victim.
She’s the 17th person to die from the virus, according to CK Public Health.
To date, 1,872 local residents have contracted the virus. There are still 14 active cases in the municipality as of this morning.
Hospitalizations doubled to four people as well.
Across the province, there were 590 new cases reported over the past 24 hours.
