Last night, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence on Bloomfield Road.
The officers seized approximately $25,000 worth of suspected fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine.
Four firearms and a large quantity of Canadian and American cash were also seized.
Five people face charges in connection with the bust.
A 39-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman a 37-year-old woman, all of Chatham and a 34-year-old Mississauga man and a 39-year-old Brampton man are all charged with four counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm and three counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking.
The local residents also face additional charges related to failing to comply with their release conditions.
