A Friday afternoon drug raid in Chatham netted one arrest and a cornucopia of illegal substances and weapons.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section executed the raid, and seized 23.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine; 25 grams of MDMA; four 12mg hydromorphone capsules; 11 oxycodone tablets; 83 grams of psilocybin; digital scales; firearm with silencer; conductive energy weapon; and a set of brass knuckles.
A 31-year old Chatham man was arrested and charged with six counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, nine counts of failing to comply with his undertaking and five counts of weapon related charges. The male has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
