Chatham-Kent’s active COVID numbers slid south on a sunny Tuesday morning, as we dropped four overall to have 35 active cases.
That according to CK Public Health numbers.
Over the past 24 hours, we saw four new cases reported, but eight deemed resolved.
To date, 1,759 people in Chatham-Kent have contracted the virus, 1,711 have been resolved, 13 people have died and we currently still have two in local hospital.
A total of 31,183 are reported to have received their first vaccine dose through CK Public Health.
Provincially, there were 3,265 new cases reported over the past 24 hours, the lowest total since April 7. This also marks the second straight day the weekly average for new cases in Ontario dipped below 4,000.
