Chatham-Kent’s rollercoaster ride with COVID-19 numbers continues today, but on a much flatter portion of the track, as our active case numbers rose by two.
With five new active cases reported in the past 24 hours, against three deemed resolved, our number of active reported COVID-19 cases sits at 37 for a population of more than 104,000.
Across the province, health units reported 4,736 new cases in the past 24 hours. Again, just five of those come from Chatham-Kent. Of the remainder, nearly 1,200 come from Toronto and nearly 1,000 from Peel Region.
