Yesterday afternoon, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a residence on Princess Street North.
Approximately $3,100 worth of suspected fentanyl, MDMA, methamphetamine and crack cocaine was seized along with digital scales, Canadian currency and drug packaging materials.
A 52-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman are charged with two counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking. The man also faces two counts of possession and one of failing to comply with his release conditions. The woman faces a possession charge as well.
Both were released pending a future court date.
