C-K resolved COVID cases balancing out new ones

For the first time in more than a week, Chatham-Kent’s resolved cases have surpassed the new ones being reported.

CK Public Health reported 10 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday morning and 11 recoveries.

The cases make little change to the active total which has decreased by one and now sits at 70. The cumulative total sits at 1,448 cases.

Two individual remain in hospital and there were no new hospitalizations reported.

Copper Terrace remains in outbreak status after one staff members tested positive for the virus. The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Lab Services and Dialysis Unit also remain in outbreak, after five cases total were reported on March 7.
