A Highgate man faces child pornography and drug charges following a raid by Chatham-Kent police Wednesday morning.
Members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Highgate regarding a child luring investigation.
Police say they seized electronic devices for analysis.
Officers also found the man to be in possession of a large quantity of marijuana plants.
As a result, shortly after 6 p.m. last night, members of the Intelligence Unit executed a Cannabis Act search warrant at the residence and grabbed approximately $200,000 in illicit cannabis.
A 29-year-old Highgate man was arrested and charged with child pornography and drug related offences. He was released pending a future court date.
