Around 7:00 p.m. Monday night, an unknown man stole an employee’s coat from a business on St. Clair St.
Inside the coat were keys to a black 2015 Chevy Cruise. The man located the car in the parking lot and fled the area eastbound on Pioneer Line. The car was last seen with Ontario license plates CLSR 619.
The suspect is described as an Indigenous man, approximately 6’1”, 20-30 years with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, black sweater, black jeans and black shoes.

Neighbour Dispute leads to Charges
A 33-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with break and enter, assault and mischief under $5000.
On Monday morning, police responded to a neighbour dispute in Wallaceburg, and through investigation learned that the man forced his way into his neighbour’s apartment, pushed him and damaged his phone.
He was released pending a future court date of February 3, 2021.
Man Charged with Failing to Comply
A 52-year-old Chatham man has been remanded into custody until Jan. 14 after being arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with his release conditions.
On July 16, 2020, the man was released from custody with several conditions. Two of those conditions stated that he was not to communicate with a specific Chatham woman or attend her home.
On Monday morning, police located the pair together at the woman’s home in Chatham.
Pair Charged with Domestic Related Offences
A 52-year-old A Tilbury couple was arrested and charged with assault, theft under $5000 and being in possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000.
On Friday night police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the Tilbury area and learned that a verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation between a couple.
The 48-year-old man and 52-year-old woman were released pending future court dates of Feb. 9, 2021.
Executed Warrants
Police arrested a 33-year-old Ridgetown man on Monday afternoon who was wanted for breaching his probation order and failing to attend court.
Myles Marianchuk of Victoria Ave., Ridgetown was released pending a future court date of February 3, 2021.
Police also located a man who was wanted for breaching his Probation Order and failing to attend court. The 53-year-old Blenheim man was arrested and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
